Kilroy-mania!

Kilroy's Biggest Fan's scrapbook

When I bought Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway (a first-person shooter video game) and saw a familiar face and when I found out that I could scribble it; I grew very fond of it! My grandad is also a Kilroy fan. When he was young, he used scribble it. I saw many Kilroys on the Tex Avery Show (an animated showcase of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Warner Bros. cartoon shorts prominently by animator Tex Avery). There was one on a fence where a cat was running to set a mouse trap; and there was one on the same program (not episode); where the same cat opens a tin of sardines; and inside is written in big red bold capital letters "Kilroy was here." Unfortunately the show no longer comes on and I don't remember the episode's names. So I have been a Kilroy fan for a long time, and remember seeing them all over town.

Regards;
Kilroy's Biggest Fan.

This is Flywheel; Luke the Spook's Twin Brother. Unlike Luke the Spook; Flywheel is a kind-hearted Kilroy. While Luke the Spook is a light-gray color; Flywheel is a light ocean-blue color; and glows in the dark. Flywheel is also known as the "Aquarium Kilroy"; because of his ocean-blue color; and the fact that you'll find him spending his days at the local aquarium. Sadly; Flywheel is sometimes mistaken for Luke the Spook; despite his blue color; they still mistake him for Luke the Spook. I think you'll like Flywheel.

While looking for images of the Amelia Island lighthouse in Florida; I came across this Kilroy on a fence post on Amelia Island. Amelia Island is home to an active U.S. Coast Guard Base; and maybe one of the CG Personnel scribbled this!

This is my me; Matt the Kilroy! Now I can say I'm Kilroy's Biggest Fan!
BTW, that power station in the background is the last of it's kind in South Africa. It's twin that sat here on our harbour was dismantled (taken apart brick-by-brick) in 1992. This sole survivor however is to be spared and will be preserved. This power station is called Athlone Power Station (Note: The cooling towers were imploded in 2010 as they were crumbling).

Kilroy was back at my little sister's campus; leaving his mark on a rock just across from the rock that he left his mark on the other day.

Saturday morning I was waiting for my girlfriend when I heard a disturbance outside the yard. I rushed outside; there was Flywheel; Luke the Spook; Kilroy and Overby fighting with each other! They were using language so foul I can't even describe it! They even left their mark on my wall! When my girlfriend arrived; the conflicting brothers scattered!

. Ironically; While clearing out my bookcase; I came across a Kilroy I thought was already on the tips (landfill) many years ago! I was drawn by my grandfather back around 2008-2010. Back then; I only knew the Kilroy was here writing; but not the character itself. I am amazed it still survives!

Once we got to Hogsback; we did a hike. And coincidentally; a picnic bench at the start of the trail had a Kilroy on it! It read "Vovo was here." I was so influenced by it; I grabbed a piece of charcoal and scribbled my own.

En route to a popular mountain area called Hogsback; we passed several bus shelters (The kind used to shelter people going between cities); and most of them had graffiti on them. But one of them had a Kilroy on it! I couldn't take a photo as we were going too fast. We slowed down a bit and I was able to take a photo of a clean bus shelter to use as a rendering.

Another Kilroy has popped up in the brothers in arms series; this time in Road to Hill 30; on the last level. You have to link up with two tanks; and the commander of the tank to your right ( left if you face the bridge) says something to you. You then activate your situation awareness view; and toggle to see where your enemies are; you can see the names of the two tank commanders; one is Jackson; and the other one is Kilroy! I have a photo to prove it! Credit goes to Ubisoft and Gearbox Software

I ran across a proper one stuck to a highway sign! It was placed by Crime Spotter; a local security force that helps the police do their job and catch the law breakers. I took the photo; but credit goes to Crime Spotter for the usage of the Kilroy.

Kilroy just can't seem to stay away from my sister's school! He was there again; and manipulated one of the kids to scribble their name using his signature! Thanks to my sister (and to Danya) for finding it.

The one is scribbled on the wall of a house opposite a school. This was probably scribbled by one of the students.
